Here’s a pic of us hammering along in the cold. Another lovely day with great roads, easy driving and our competition today was a couple of laps of a racing circuit in Bresse. Peter drove them well and now we’ve just got the run in to Paris.

You must be jubilant and relieved i’m sure to have brought the car back in one piece through what has, without doubt, been a significant adventure. So close now. It’s been quite incredible to follow your journey all the way. You have put in a splendid performance which must rank with the best. Stubbornly the top five in class have not changed places for some days now but what a result. I’ll save my congratulations for tomorrow.
